About Narsud (نرصد)
Narsud (نرصد) is an early warning system mobile application developed by Sustainable Peace Foundation (مؤسسة السلام المستدام) in partnership with Iraqi Firdaws Association (جمعية الفردوس العراقية). The app is used for reporting incidents and monitoring environmental and community disasters.
How to Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and data through any of the following methods:
In-App Request
Open the Narsud app → Go to Settings → Tap "Delete My Account" → Confirm your identity with OTP → Your deletion request will be processed.
Submit the Form Below
Fill out the account deletion request form at the bottom of this page with your registered email and phone number. We will verify your identity and process the request.
Email Us Directly
Send an email to abdullahalsalih@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered email address and phone number.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted:

What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for legitimate operational and legal purposes:

| Incident Reports (anonymized) | Up to 12 months | Reports may be retained in anonymized form for public safety and early warning analysis. All personally identifiable information is removed. |
| Server Logs | Up to 90 days | Standard server access logs are retained for security monitoring and debugging before automatic deletion. |
Processing Timeline
- Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days of identity verification.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your account and data have been deleted.
- Locally stored data on your device (offline reports, preferences, cache) will remain until you uninstall the app.
- Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You will need to register a new account if you wish to use the app again.
